Problem:
Cedars-Sinai’s website spanned hundreds of services and thousands of content pages — but was difficult to navigate and lacked consistency. Patients, providers, and researchers all struggled to find what they needed.
Solution:
As the Lead UI/UX Designer, I collaborated with cross-functional teams in Agile sprints to overhaul Cedars-Sinai’s digital experience:
Key features included:
Find a Doctor Tool: Redesigned search and filtering to support both general care and highly specialized providers.
Appointment Scheduling: Streamlined connections between patients and departments, improving ease of access.
Content Architecture: Reorganized thousands of health articles to surface relevant information faster.
Design System: Created a component-based library to ensure scalability and consistency across the ecosystem.
Impact:
The result was a patient-centered, mobile-first experience that reflected Cedars-Sinai’s leadership in healthcare and made accessing care and information easier for all users.
