Challenge:
Ford needed a modern intranet that was intuitive, customizable, and scalable for its global workforce. The existing platform lacked personalization and usability, especially across devices and regions.
Approach:
Over six months of Agile collaboration, I guided UX strategy and design for the intranet revamp:
Modular Dashboard System: Introduced a customizable right-rail with widgets like Bookmarks, Stock Tracker, and World Clocks giving employees control over layout and relevance.
News & Media Redesign: Created mobile-optimized layouts and interactive features that improved content discovery and engagement.
Scalable Design System: Built a flexible component library to support future iterations and align with Ford’s internal tools ecosystem.
Impact:
The redesign improved engagement, streamlined internal communications, and laid the groundwork for future digital enhancements across Ford’s enterprise tools.
